Dye penetrant inspection allows to detect surface defects on any kind of material and product. This method is used mostly for non-ferromagnetic materials, mainly alloy steels and aluminum alloys. The best effects are seen on smooth, non-porous materials, such as rolled, wrought and drawn materials. A thorough cleaning of the examined surface from all kinds of impurities (such as rust or grease) is required before the examination. Testing through even the thinnest layer of paint is impossible. There is a possibility of conducting an impenetrability test with dye penetrant method. During the examination we always use agents from reputable producers, also for examination in temperatures below 0ºC.
All our personnel executing the tests has certificates according to the standard PN-EN 473. The tests are runn by the operators with at least level II according to PN-EN 473. Supervision is done by personnel with level III in accordance with PN-EN 473. The copies of personal certificates are available for our clients on demand. We have the recognition for performing X-ray examination according ASME standards.
We help out clients to "move” in the topic of non-destructive testing and thickness measurements. We advise how to choose optimum examination methods.
