The newest techniques in ultrasonic testing open new possibilities in detecting defects. Thanks to a simultaneous use of multi-transducer probes (PA) and the TOFD technique we increase traceability in comparison to the classical ultrasonic or x-ray methods. The result of the examination is a digital record of the whole test, which is archived, with the possibility of being copied for the client.
The TOFD and PA techniques are used first and foremost in constructions which have to be fully reliable to test butt-joint welds.
The Phased Array technique (PA) is used both in butt-joint as well as T-joints, thick metal sheets, forgings and castings.
All our personnel executing the tests has certificates according to the standard PN-EN 473. The tests are runn by the operators with at least level II according to PN-EN 473. Supervision is done by personnel with level III in accordance with PN-EN 473. The copies of personal certificates are available for our clients on demand. We have the recognition for performing X-ray examination according ASME standards.
We help out clients to "move” in the topic of non-destructive testing and thickness measurements. We advise how to choose optimum examination methods.
